Fellows Profiles
The Society of Hellman Fellows intentionally supports a broad range of faculty research interests from biotechnology and computer science to architecture, law, and dance. Awards are offered in three main categories at each campus:
- Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences
- Physical and Life Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics and related fields (STEM)
- Professional fields (Law, Education, City Planning, etc.)
Fellows receive financial resources that they can use to advance their research agenda, whether that’s following new inquiry ideas, writing manuscripts, or presenting at conferences. The majority of Fellows hire graduate students to support their work, building a pipeline of talented researchers in many fields of study.
